Rail Executive

As a Rail Executive at Ailit, you’ll be the bridge between our technology and the U.S. freight rail industry.

You’ll leverage your deep experience in rail operations, business development, and partnerships to drive adoption of Ailit’s battery-electric freight solutions.

This is a senior commercial and strategic role — focused on building relationships with Class I and II operators, regulators, and infrastructure partners.

• Develop partnerships and pilot programs with major freight operators.
• Define route and deployment strategies for battery-electric freight in North America.
• Translate operator needs into actionable product and business requirements.
• Represent Ailit at industry events, regulatory forums, and commercial negotiations.
• Support fundraising, grant, and government relations efforts related to electrification.

• Have 10+ years of experience in rail operations, commercial, or executive roles.
• Understand Class I/II operator economics and procurement processes.
• Have strong networks across the North American (freight) rail ecosystem.
• Are motivated to help modernize freight rail and accelerate the clean energy transition.

Ailit is building modular battery systems for freight rail, enabling operators to reduce diesel consumption without changing train operations. We integrate batteries with our own power electronics, control software, and rail interfaces, assembling and operating the AI optimized energy systems for deployment in North America and other heavy-haul markets.
